This site is operated by Brand Brilliance LLC, a limited liability company registered in Texas, United States, trading as Michelle Sohn Coaching. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
When you book a call
Booking a call through this site collects your name, email address, telephone number, the nature of your enquiry, and anything you choose to write in the booking questions. Scheduling is handled by our booking provider, which also records the time zone and meeting time you select.
When you email us
If you contact us directly we keep your message and contact details so we can reply and, where relevant, keep a record of the conversation.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies on this site.
What we do not collect
We do not take payment through this site. We do not collect payment card details, government identification numbers, or any special category data through the website.
Why we use it
- To arrange and hold the call you booked
- To respond to your enquiry
- To send you the emails you asked for, where you subscribed
- To keep records required for running the business, including invoicing and tax
- To keep the site secure and working
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for marketing emails, on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request for booking and delivering coaching, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the business for everything else.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. These currently include a scheduling and client management platform, an email provider, a video conferencing provider, and our website host. Each processes your information only to provide that service to us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Coaching confidentiality
What is discussed inside a coaching engagement is treated as confidential and is separate from this policy. Where an employer sponsors an engagement, the boundaries around what is and is not shared with that employer are agreed in writing before the work begins. Confidentiality is limited only where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of serious harm.
International transfers
Brand Brilliance LLC is based in the United States and our providers may process information there. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or another region with transfer restrictions, that means your information may be transferred outside your home country. We use providers who offer appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to two years. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterwards, in line with business and tax record requirements. Marketing subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to receive it in a portable format. Residents of the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have these rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR. Residents of certain US states, including Texas and California, have comparable rights under state law. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

Children
This site and these services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
